Dear Yoda, When I am surfing the internet at home, my dog insists on putting her head on the keyboard in my lap. It makes it impossible to type. How can I make her stop?

Dear Ripley's Mom, Are you sure Ripley's not a cat diguised in a dog suit? Well, I'm not an expert on dogs per se, but when I've made a pest out of myself wanting to be in Mom's or Dad's lap while they're reading or on the computer, they usually give in and pet me for a little while. Actually Mom mauls me something fierce (in a good way) and Dad will eventually bring out my comb and give me a good combing, which I don't always like. I would say, just from my experiences, that probably what Ripley is really wanting is serious Mommy attention. Maybe try to give her a good 15 minutes of rough housing and tucker her out, then use your laptop. Otherwise, maybe not use the laptop on your lap where Ripley can get to the keyboard.

Thank you for the welcome email. This is such a cool thing your Mum has made. She is a clever lady. I will gladly provide some pics of kangaroos and other things. Just give me a couple of days to post. I have a great pic of T* and her new puppy that might be nice in the pet page also.

Dear Helen, Flattery will get you anywhere with me. Thank you for the pic of T* and her puppy. You did say "puppy" right? I'm telling you that "puppy" is the size of a Lexus! I actually know what kangaroos are as Mum has a picture of them in the bedroom and several stuffed ones around the flat. They're cute, although they look like giant mice!

Dear Dad, Again? You're leaving again? I should report you to the international arm of the SPCA for abandonment! However, this does mean that I can use the stereo and play Jingle Cats or even CATS the German version to my heart's content! Also, always nice to see Karin. If she were a cat I'd ask her to marry me!
